We are an Irish land based shellfish farm which specialise in the
ongrowing of Abalone.
Abalone are marine Gastropods/Sea snails that graze on Sea Weed.
Situated on the Beautiful rugged natural coastline of the
Beara Peninsula, West Cork, Ireland where the nutrient rich waters
are gently warmed by the gulf steam that makes it
ideally suited to the Ongrowing of these shellfish.
Our farm is represented by 75% Japanese Abalone (Haliotis Discus Hannai),
The remaining 25% is European Abalone ( Haliotis Tuberculata)
Our spat is sourced from local hatcheries and is fed on high quality local hand
harvested Kelp and Red Sea weed, they then metamorphise into juvenile Abalone
and then onto saleable market size fish (usually 85 - 110 mm)
